Death Note has to be one of the best manga series ever! It has a plot, not just a bunch of random stories, and will make you wanna read to find out what happens next. It starts out that Yagami Light, Or Yagami Raito, is bored in class. He sees a notebook lying on the ground outside and picks it up after class. After reading on it the words "Death Note" and reading the instructions on how to use it, he chuckles to himself, thinking why someone would go to such a length for a stupid prank. I won't give out the Rest of the Plot, but I'll just Say that Afterwards, Raito wants to use the Death Note to rid the world of evil. It may not be for the younger reader, but I'd say 12-13 would be a good age to start.
